I miss you.

This is neither poem

nor sonnet.

It is a lamentation.

I need you.

This is neither loneliness

nor lust

It is homelessness.

I feel you.

This is neither hallucination

nor clairvoyance

It is emptiness.

I miss you still.

And the way you whisper

my name and say

Silk.

I wish you

The very best of life’s offerings.

The antithesis of life’s sufferings.

Since that is me -

I wish you

Me.
